Darlington Steam American Football Club

Darlington Steam American Football Club are based in Darlington, County Durham, UK. and train and play at Blackwell Meadows. We are members of the British American Football Association (BAFA) and take part in local and national flag league and friendly competitions.

Our youth team consists of players aged 13 years old and upwards and the adult team are aged from 18 upwards with no upper age limit.

Our coaches are qualified via BAFA and have been enhanced Disclosure & Baring Service (formally CRB) checked. Coaches are also first aid trained and safeguard certified.

What are our aims

• To bring the non traditional sport of American Football to the youth and adults of Darlington area and across the county.
• To develop each individual to a high standard in a safe welcoming environment.
• We prepare players for the adult game. Always starting from the basics ensuring that safety and the well being of each player.
